Cytyc affirms first-quarter outlook

Marlboro-based Cytyc Corp. reconfirmed its first quarter outlook, saying it expects revenues for the three-month period to be in the range of $163 million to $166 million.
For the full year, the diagnostic and medical device company continues to expect revenue to be in the range of $690 million to $710 million.
Cytyc also said that it expects to complete acquisitions of Adiana Inc. and Adeza Biomedical Corp. before the end of the March.
