Cyphermint to equip BellSouth kiosk network
Cyphermint Inc., a Marlboro firm specializing in kiosk and secure electronic payment technology, has formed a partnership with Marketing Associates USA to develop a kiosk network for BellSouth.
The agreement calls for Marketing Associates to deploy the BellSouth kiosk network within large apartment communities in Georgia. Cyphermint will operate the kiosks, which will allow new residents of the complexes to either establish BellSouth service, or move their current number and service plan to their new address.
The kiosks will be equipped with two LCD screens, with the upper screen providing digital signage for BellSouth promotions, and the lower screen allowing users to process online transactions. Deployment of the kiosk network is slated for August of '07.
