CVS opens two drive-thru test sites in Worcester County

CVS Health will open two new drive-thru COVID-19 test sites in Central Massachusetts beginning Friday, the company announced on Thursday.
The test sites — at 142 Worcester Road in Charlton and 44 West Boylston St. in Worcester — are among 10 new testing sites the company is opening across the state.
The sites will utilize self-swab tests for those who meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria. Those eligible for testing must register in advance at CVS.com to schedule an appointment. Patients will be required to stay in their cars and will be directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window, where a CVS pharmacy employee will give them a test and observe its administration to ensure it is executed properly.
