Worcester-based design and construction firm Cutler Associates has created a new “scholastic division” to specialize in school construction projects.
The division will be led by Roderick C. Shaffert, a Worcester Polytechnic Institute graduate who has worked in various capacities for Cutler for the past 20 years. For his new role, Shaffert has been promoted to vice president.
The new division will focus on academic and institutional clients that want so-called “sustainable” buildings constructed on tight budgets and short schedules.
