Westborough-based Cumberland Farms on Tuesday announced all new-concept stores across Worcester County and Massachusetts will have curbside pickup through its mobile SmartPay Rewards App.
As of Tuesday, from 6 am to 9 pm, customers will be able to order from Cumberland Farms using the latest version of the free SmartPay Rewards app. Customers can buy any essentials and hot food, such as pizza, which will be delivered to the customer’s vehicle through curbside pickup or while they fill gas.
“Curbside pickup provides our guests a convenient, seamless and contactless way to shop for their everyday needs,” George Fournier, president of EG America in Kansas, the parent company of Cumberland Farms, said in the press release. “We hope that this service helps make life a little bit easier for our guests as we all return to a new normal.”
To place an order from Cumberland Farms on the app, customers must select Curbside Pickup on the home screen, where they will then complete the order. When the order is ready, they will get a push or email notification.
Customers who use the SmartPay Rewards app will earn 10 cents on every gallon of gas filled at the Cumberland Farms pumps, as well as other rewards.
Participating Cumberland Farms locations in Central Massachusetts include: 263 Grafton St., and 616 Chandler St. in Worcester, 217 Worcester St. in North Grafton, 184 West Boylston St. in West Boylston, 365 Turnpike Road in Southborough, 165 Flanders Road in Westborough, 87 Central St. in Hudson, and 15 Main St. in Northborough.
