When President Mike Pagano retires at the end of the year from Worcester architecture firm Lamoureux Pagano, executive vice president Katie Crockett will take over as its new leader.
President Crockett will share management responsibilities with Principals Eric Moore, Rick Lamoureux, Jr. and Rob Para, Jr. at the 47-year-old firm, whose notable projects include the Mechanics Hall renovation, Fitchburg City Hall, UMass Medical School Library and the Worcester Memorial Auditorium.
Pagano has been with the company for 43 years, working as a principal architect on many of those large projects, including the restoration of Hanover Theatre. He’s also been responsible for designing dozens of school buildings, making him one of the most respected school architects in the state, the company announced last week.
“I am so grateful for the collegiality and friendship of so many talented co-workers, clients, and business associates that have defined the past 43 years," Pagano said in the release. “Moving on from LPA, I intend to remain in Worcester and maintain the connections I have made as I seek a balance between work, travel, and service to the community.”
