Risk management software maker Courion Corp. of Westborough has acquired a Swiss firm in a move that company officials say will enhance Courion’s offerings and grow their European presence.
The addition to Courion, Bay31, helps companies ensure secure access to business processes and reduce the cost of compliance, according to Courion. Bay31 will allow Courion to enhance its current intelligence and analytics software offerings for faster solutions to the largest and most complex applications, according to Chris Sullivan, general manager of intelligence and analytics at Courion.
“This will enable us to solve important problems that the market has not even considered possible," he said in a release.
Bay31 headquarters are in Zug, Switzerland, with operations in Geneva and software development in Rome. Courion did not disclose the cost of the acquisition.
