Country Bank has opened a location on Grafton Street, marking the fourth banking center in Worcester for the Ware-based financial firm.
The branch, located at 1393 Grafton St., opened on June 3 and will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to the May 21 press release from Country Bank. The bank will offer giveaways for local gift cards, Worcester Red Sox tickets, and other prizes throughout this week.
The new branch will be open on Monday through Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Country Bank serves Central and Western Massachusetts with 14 offices in Charlton, Leicester, Paxton, West Brookfield, Worcester, Ware, Palmer, Brimfield, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Ludlow, and Springfield.
Country Bank is the 24th largest bank in Central Massachusetts, when ranked by local deposits as of June 30, 2022, according to the WBJ Research Department. The bank has $362.4 million in local deposits and $1.8 billion in local assets as of March 31, 2023, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
Country Bank is one of the 21 founding partners of the Worcester Red Sox and supported more than 210 nonprofits in 2024. The WooSox mascot, Smiley Ball, and the Country Bank’s mascot, Buck, will make an appearance at the new location on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
