The Mass Technology Leadership Council Inc. has announced finalists for its annual Technology Leadership Awards, and among them a few notable executives from Central Massachusetts.
Among those being considered as an "emerging executive" is Patricia Cotter, vice president of worldwide operations at data storage firm Netezza Corp. of Marlborough
The council has also named Glasshouse Technologies, a Framingham-based IT consulting firm, as a finalist in the private sector category.
George Brenckle, CIO of the UMass Memorial Health Center and John Polizzi, CIO of BJ's Wholesale Club in Natick are both finalists in the CIO category.
The council is based in Burlington and is an advocacy and education group formed by the Massachusetts Software Council and the New England Business and Technology Association Inc.
