Cornerstone Bank has opened a location on Main Street in Shrewsbury, marking the 11th branch for the Worcester-based financial firm.

The branch, located at 195 Main St., features two drive-up lanes with ATMs, as well as a coffee bar and electric vehicle charging stations. Services at the bank include lending and investment specialists, as well as drive-up video tellers, according to a press release issued Monday.

Cornerstone broke ground on the 1,700-square-foot branch in July. It was designed and built by Solidus, Inc., a Connecticut-based construction company specializing in building financial institutions. Solidus has constructed or renovated 726 bank branches across the Northeast in the past 10 years, according to the company’s website.

Cornerstone was founded in 2017 following the merger of SpencerBANK, founded in 1871, and Southbridge Savings Bank, founded in 1848, according to Cornerstone’s website.

Cornerstone has additional branch locations in Charlton, Holden, Leicester, Rutland, Southbridge, Spencer, Sturbridge, Webster, and Worcester. It has $1.2 billion in local deposits and $1.6 billion in assets, as of Jan. 31, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
