Corero Network Security of Hudson will integrate an offering from a Colorado firm into its information technology network security products, the firms announced in a statement.
Corero will add the Webroot IP Reputation Service, from Webroot, of Broomfield, Colo., to its products and services that block malicious web addresses and prevent unauthorized network access and distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, protecting investments in network infrastructures and eliminating costly downtime.
“Attack vendors are continually changing and we are committed to combating those attack sources by all means,” Corero CEO Marty Meyer said. “Adding the Webroot IP (Internet protocol) reputation data to our existing … IP protection solutions will create the industry’s most comprehensive IP reputation offering.
