Mark P. Bilotta, CEO of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium has been appointed as a board member at the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority, an organization that oversees tax-exempt financing for nonprofits.
Bilotta, a Worcester resident, started his five-year term in August.
HEFA is a quasi-public, self-funded authority that supports nonprofits in higher education, health care, culture and human services. Last year it approved $3.4 billion in financial support for Massachusetts organizations.
