Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. has formed a partnership with Kirchhoff Construction Management as part of a push to expand in upstate New York.
The combined company will be called Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management and will be based at Kirchhoff's existing headquarters in Pleasant Valley, N.Y.
Consigli also has offices in Portland, Maine and Enfield, Conn.
The new firm will serve clients in the Hudson Valley and upstate New York and focus on corporate, academic and health care construction project management. The firm will be run by President Greg Burns, a longtime Consigli executive, and CEO Joseph Kirchhoff, the founder of Kirchhoff Construction Management.
Consigli also announced that it had broken ground on the $84 million renovation of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School on Broadway in Cambridge.
Consigli is overseeing the project, which includes exterior and interior modernization and efficiency improvements, as well as a new roof for the 450,000-square-foot building.
