Consigli a 'healthiest' company in America

Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. was named a 2016 "Healthiest Company in America" by health management solutions provider Interactive Health.
Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. was named a 2016 “Healthiest Company in America” by national health management solutions provider Interactive Health, Consigli said Wednesday.
The award, now in its 10th year, recognizes companies for improving and maintaining employee health through workplace health initiatives.
Consigli said more than 70 percent of employees participated in flexible wellness initiatives produced by Interactive Health, achieving a low-risk health score for its workforce based on “rigorous” health evaluations.
Spouses also participated in the Consigli initiatives, which included online challenges such as a “step challenge” and a “fruit-and-veggie tracking challenge.”
More than 3,100 companies were considered for the award, with only the top 5 percent receiving the recognition, according to Consigli.
