Worcester-based Community Healthlink has partnered with an electronic health records company specifically designed for behavioral healthcare providers.
The organization announced the agreement with Tennessee-based Qualifacts Systems on Tuesday.
Community Healthlink said the transition to value-based reimbursement in the country’s healthcare system required a more efficient record-keeping system.
In a statement, Nicole Gagne, the president of UMass Memorial – Community Healthlink, said the partnership will allow more effective collaboration with primary care providers.
“There are many (electronic health records) vendors out there, but we need a platform designed specifically for behavioral healthcare providers like us,” she said.
