The Commerce Bank and Trust Co. of Worcester gave $1 million to the Worcester Educational Development Foundation Inc. for the renovation of Foley Stadium on Chandler Street.
The field needs about $3 million in renovations. It was built in the early 1960s. The Worcester school committee accepted the donation and agreed to name the field Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium.
