Video gamers are expected to flock to Worcester Polytechnic Institute Saturday to demonstrate their skills on the Nintendo Wii video game system.
WPI will be one of just four spots in the country to host a Wii tournament, which Nintendo is holding to promote the upcoming release of the new game, “Super Smash Bros. Brawl.” The others are in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City.
WPI introduced the nation’s first major in interactive media and game development major three years ago. The WPI Game Development Club helped organize the tournament.
