Cold Chain moves to Franklin from Holliston

Cold Chain Technologies, which designs, tests and manufactures thermal packaging solutions for the life science industry, on Monday announced the opening of its new facility in Franklin.
The company, which was previously headquartered in Holliston, said in October the new 237,000-square foot-facility gives it an extra 100,000 square feet for manufacturing and other operations.
Manufacturing work is supported by a thermal package engineering and research and development center -- the biggest in the country, according to Cold Chain, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
The company has other manufacturing facilities in Nashville, Tenn., Reno, Nev. and in Europe.
