Cognex Corp. of Natick announced today that it is selling more than a quarter million dollars worth of document readers to a worldwide supplier of document security systems.
Cognex said the unnamed customer will integrate the readers into equipment that validates printed documents by reading unique ID codes.
The new order brings total business from the customer to more than $700,000 in 2007, Cognex said.
