Cognex Corp., the Natick-based manufacturer of barcode-reading cameras, received a $250,000 order from a Canadian courier service.
Purolator Inc., based in Ontario, will replace its laser barcode scanners with the Cognex cameras, which have faster read rates and can process more complex barcodes.
Purolator has more than 11,300 employees and 123 stores plus 550 authorized shipping agents. The company ships packages domestically and internationally.
