Niche Hospitality Group’s signature cocktail bar will re-open this weekend at its new location at 90 Commercial St. in Worcester.
“We’re thrilled to finally have the official grand-opening weekend of Still & Stir arrive,” said Niche Hospitality Group President Mike Covino. “The craft cocktail concept, as it was known at The Citizen, was loved by many while it was open, and missed when it closed. We’re excited to get back to our roots at the new location.”
The Worcester-based Niche closed down the joint Still & Stir, The Citizen Wine Bar and The People's Kitchen location in November at their former site at One Exchange Place. The new location for Still & Stir at 90 Commercial St. was the former site of Niche's hockey-themed bar Railer's Tavern.
The Still & Stir will re-open on Friday. The new location brings along some other changes, with the bar being led by Derek Grimm (formerly of Main Street restaurant deadhorse hill) and the kitchen being run by Head Chef Johnny Giddix (of Niche's Block 5 Bistro and The People’s Kitchen).
The new menu will feature a rotating selection of food, and the restaurant will have a specialized brunch menu.
