Coakley Adds $100K To $1.5M Youth Jobs Fund

State Attorney General Martha Coakley has pumped an extra $100,000 into youth job programs in the state, including two programs in Worcester County.

The Worcester Public Schools and LUK Inc., located in Fitchburg, will each receive an extra $6,500 to employ at-risk youth this summer.

The funding is on top of $1.5 million that had already been allocated to the Youth Employment Solutions grant program. The program is expected to employ 225 youth plus an additional 64 with the money Coakley recently announced.
