Safety-Kleen Systems, a firm specializing in commercial cleaning services and products, has paid nearly $2 million for its Marlborough facility.
Safety-Kleen, part of the Norwell-based environment waste company Clean Harbors, operates a facility at 50 Brigham St. in an industrial area of the city off Maple Street right near the Southborough town line.
Safety-Kleen paid $1.95 million to buy the property from A.P. Dawson Realty Trust of Osprey, Fla., in a deal closed March 16.
The four-building site totals 1.8 acres and was last assessed by the City of Marlborough at nearly $1.6 million.
