The School of Management at Worcester’s Clark University has formed a partnership with Indian Institute of Management Shillong in India to offer students opportunities to study abroad, create shared research opportunities, and foster professional staff collaboration.
“The partnership between IIM Shillong and Clark University will not only bring greater shared opportunities, but also assist in raising our institution’s profile in the worldwide market and boost the caliber of our students,” DP Goyal, a professor and director at IIM Shillong, said in a Thursday press release from Clark.
IIM Shillong has a particular interest in entrepreneurship teaching methods.
“One of the collaboration’s objectives is to provide participants with the information they need to adopt an outcome-based learning method, which will teach them how to start, run, and grow their enterprises in the real world,” said Goyal.
Clark’s School of Management offers 12 degree programs in a variety of fields, including an online MBA.
IIM Shilong, established in 2007, is a public management school offering postgraduate, doctoral, and executive courses in the city of Shillong, which is in the Indian state of Meghalaya, according to website Shiksha.com.
