Clark U. Student Gets ‘Redistricting Olympics’ Gold

A student at Clark University in Worcester was one of three gold medal winners in the “Redistricting Olympics,” a contest sponsored by government watchdog group Common Cause Massachusetts.

Nick Rossi won the congressional category in the contest, which called on participants to submit maps showing possible redistricting plans for the state.

The organization held the contest to bolster its argument that citizens should be highly involved in the process of drawing redistricting maps for the state to account for new Census data.
