Clark Offers Social Change To MBAs

Worcester's Clark University has added a "Social Change" concentration to its Graduate School of Management's MBA program.

Now, along with MBAs in finance, marketing or global business, graduate students may take advanced courses in international development, community development, environmental policy and social entrepreneurship. The school said the courses prepare MBAs for work in nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations, grant writing, microfinance, environmental policy, the economics of international development and sustainable consumption and production.

The new offerings are part of a partnership between the school's graduate school of management and its international development, community and environment department.

School administrators said MBA students have expressed strong interest in registering for courses in the international development department for a number of years.
