Clark launches master’s in project management

Clark University’s School of Professional Studies, located in Worcester, will launch a master’s degree in project management beginning in spring, the school announced last week.
In the announcement, the school said project management is a rapidly growing field expected to establish millions of new jobs in the coming decade.
The Clark program will focus on lean practices, as well as the ways project management impacts performance in global organizations, according to a press release. The curriculum will include courses in IT project management, software development methodology and managing trouble projects.
The program is STEM-designated, according to Clark, which means international students will be allowed to remain in the United States for up to three years after they graduate.
