Code Ninjas, a center for children to learn computer coding, was slated to open Thursday at Northborough Crossing.
The roughly 1,700-square-foot club gives kids an opportunity to learn computer coding through game-based curriculum Code Ninjas said teaches teamwork, logic, math and problem solving.
The Northborough Crossing location is the ninth in Massachusetts for the Texas company, which has 420 locations in 45 states.
Code Ninjas is the latest new tenant at Northborough Crossing, which has faced the same retail turnover as many other plazas during upheaval in the brick-and-mortar industry. In the past year, Old Navy has replaced an Eastern Mountain Sports there, Pottery Barn has opened in a former Toys "R" Us location, and Homesense replaced a Golfsmith.
