While President & CEO Eric Dickson is undoubtedly the public face of UMass Memorial, Lapriore keeps things running smoothly. At the healthcare network, she oversees business partnerships, public image and relations, and the fluidity of the executive team.
“I can’t think of anyone more dedicated to improving the health of Central Massachusetts and making Worcester great than Cheryl Lapriore,” Dickson said.
Lapriore is responsible for keeping all of the healthcare system’s projects stay on track. She runs UMass Memorial’s senior leadership meetings with CEOs of all the system’s hospitals and leaders of different medical groups.
“She’s a leader among leaders,” Dickson said.
When cultivating a new business partnership, Lapriore leverages that partnership for the greater community benefit, Dickson said. She uses her position to support the American Heart Association, fighting heart disease and stroke.
