Community Health Connections (CHC) in Fitchburg has hired Julia Shirk Williams as the new director of Behavioral Health Services, the health center announced Tuesday.
William was selected for her extensive management and clinical background, and her leadership track record, CHC said. She was formerly director of outpatient services, community services and partial hospitalization programs at Lowell Treatment Center.
A federally qualified health center, CHC provides primary, dental, optometry and behavioral health services to people living in North Central Massachusetts, regardless of income or insurance status.
