Charlton firm to aid Trident Sub supply program
Safety Source – Northeast, a Charlton-based wholesale distributor of safety products, has secured a long-term deal with Georgia’s Trident Submarine Refit Facility, which provides industrial and logistics support for the overhaul, modernization and repair of the U.S. Navy’s Trident submarines, the company said.
Through the $2.7 million, five-year agreement negotiated under a Defense Department, Saftey Source said it will supply the Georgia facility with safety glasses, Tyvek protective garments, welders clothing, hearing protection, hand protection and other personal safety products.
