Webster Five donated $5,000 to Rainbow Child Development Center. The funds will be used to support the center's Preschool Summer Science Program.
SpencerBANK donated $2,500 to the YWCA of Central Massachusetts to benefit the Girls CHOICE Program. The initiative provides leadership training and service learning through an intensive, six-year program of mentoring and support for 34 weeks during the school year.
Fidelity Bank made $1,000 donations to three nonprofits in Leominster and Fitchburg, plus seven others across Central Massachusetts. Pay It Backpack in Fitchburg provides those in need with backpacks with items such as clothing, food and clean water. The Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network serves homeless families. The Spanish American Center in Leominster, serves the local Hispanic/Latino community. Other recipients of $1,000 grants included the Shirley Charitable Foundation, Veterans Inc. in Worcester, the Millbury Lions Club, Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue in Templeton, the Barre Food Bank, the Worcester Animal Rescue and NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans in Princeton.
ERA Key Realty Services in Spencer contributed $1,000 to the Spencer Toys for Kids Program, which supplies toys for over 200 children in Spencer every year.
