A former Buick dealership on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester was sold and a new Japanese restaurant is moving into a neighboring building, according to a local real estate company.
The car dealership at 72 Shrewsbury St. was purchased by J&M Batista Family LP for $1,575,000 from Shrewsbury Street Association LLP, according to the Worcester-based real estate broker Glickman Kovago & Co. The building totals 28,000 square feet and sits on 1.58 acres of land.
Meanwhile, 60 Shrewsbury St. has been leased by the restaurant 7 Nana Steakhouse. The new eatery will lease half of the 15,000-square-foot building, which previously housed a Coldwell Banker office. The owner of the building is L-J Imperial Realty.
7 Nana Steakhouse already has a location in Billerica. The new Shrewsbury Street locale will be the restaurant’s first foray into Worcester.
