CFOs values internships for new hires

Most CFOs place a premium on internships when hiring for entry-level accountant and finance positions, according to a new survey from Accountemps. Fifty percent of CFOs said that, aside from functional knowledge, internships influence their hiring decisions the most. By comparison, 24 percent cited referrals from colleagues, eight percent said college alma mater and five percent said GPA mattered most.
