CEOs Vote For Decisiveness, Students For Intelligence

When considering their vote for president, CEOs place a lot of value on decisiveness and moral character, while students are more concerned with communication ability and intelligence.

Those are some of the findings of a new study by Nichols College professor Arthur McGovern. McGovern surveyed CEOs of Fortune 1000 companies and students at the Dudley business college.

He found that both groups named honesty and integrity as their number-one concern. CEOs named "being decisive" and "moral character" as numbers two and three, while students chose the ability to communicate well and intelligence. Both groups placed experience in Washington, D.C., military service, likeability and a strong belief in God closer to the bottom of the 26 options offered.
