Worcester-based Central Rock Climbing Centers has announced the addition of its fourth facility – also its first outside Massachusetts.
Announced on the indoor rock climbing company's Facebook pages and website last week, the Glastonbury, Conn., site – about 5 miles from downtown Hartford – is expected to open in March.
The 30,000-square-foot facility will feature 25,000 square feet of climbing walls with bouldering and 120 top rope stations, according to Central Rock Glastonbury's website. It also will have a yoga room, function rooms for events, showers and locker rooms, and exercise equipment.
Central Rock has locations in Worcester and Hadley. A previously-announced third location in Watertown, currently under construction, is also slated to open in the spring.
