Central Mass. Cos Make The Finals
The Mass Technology Leadership Council Inc. has named several Central Massachusetts businesses as finalists for its leadership awards.
The Technology Leadership Awards honor companies and individuals for their work in business and technology.
In the council's CEO category, Mark Shirman of Glasshouse Technologies in Framingham was named as a finalist. Jeff Brown of Waltham-based Raytheon, which has significant operations in Central Massachusetts, is a finalist in the CXO category. Egenera of Marlborough and EMC Corp. of Hopkinton are both finalists for private sector company of the year.
The council will announce finalists in four more categories on July 17. Winners in all categories will be announced at the council's Fall Awards Gala on October 23 in Boston.
