Central Mass. collaborative workspaces receive $209K in state grants

Collaborative workspace in Central Massachusetts cumulatively received more than $209,000 in grants through the latest round of funding from the state’s Collaborative Workspace Program, which is administered by the state agency MassDevelopment, according to a Tuesday announcement.

The funding program, in its sixth cycle, is designed to bolster business formation, jobs, and entrepreneurial activity.

Recipients in Central Massachusetts include:

  • Framingham Makerspace, Inc., Framingham – $99,781.32
  • The Fitchburg Arts Collective, Fitchburg – $50,000
  • WorcLab, Worcester – $27,566
  • Technocopia, Worcester – $14,178
  • Chair City Legacy Makerspace, Gardner – $11,650
  • The Fitzpatrick Collaborative, Pepperell – $6,000

The funding round included $1.075 million in grants spread across 28 organizations in Massachusetts.
