Centage Corp., the Natick-based provider of budgeting and forecasting software for small and medium-sized businesses, ended 2015 with a strong fourth quarter, according to a release from the company.
The privately held company, which is not required to report its earnings, said that year-over-year billings were up nearly 50 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015. Over 50 percent of the sales from this quarter were from the cloud-based version of the company’s program Budget Maestro. This reflects the trend towards cloud computing, according to the company.
In 2014, Centage secured $9.5 million in “Series A” venture funding and acquired BI-Metrix Inc., a Canadian maker of a business analytics tool.
