Centage promotes revenue chief Murdock to CEO

Natick automated financial software firm Centage Corp. has named former revenue chief John Murdock as its new president and CEO.

The promotion of Murdock comes after almost a year of the company working under interim CEO Ken Marshall, who took over after the sudden passing of former CEO Barry Clap last November.

Marshall, a technology industry veteran and seven-time CEO, will join the company’s board of directors as executive chairman.

Murdock has spent the last three years as the company’s chief revenue officer where he has spearheaded all sales and marketing efforts, including the company’s transformation into a cloud-based solution provider.

In addition to his time at Centage, Murdock has worked in senior leadership roles at Juniper, Kaspersky North America and QuickPivot.
