CCL Industries, a Toronto label manufacturer with a large corporate presence in Framingham, announced Friday it has acquired Plum Paper LLC, a privately owned, direct-to-consumer ecommerce business based in Oceanside, Calif.
The all-cash purchase is approximately $26 million, according to a release from CCL. The company didn’t disclose what would become of Plum’s employees.
Founded in 2014, Plum Paper is a supplier of personalized planners, journals and related stickers.
The acquisition continues to build on CCL’s growing portfolio of web-to-print technologies, products and brands using software and related supplies, Geoffrey Martin, president and CEO of CCL Industries Inc., said in a release.
