Catholic church seeks tenant for vacant $7.7M Framingham high school

The Marian High School building could support a variety of uses, according to MetroWest Commercial Real Estate.
The vacant Marian High School property has been listed for lease by the Catholic church.
The 3.2-acre, 115,000-square-foot property formerly housing the Catholic high school in Framingham closed at the end of the 2018 school year.
In a Wednesday announcement, MetroWest Commercial Real Estate said the waterfront property overlooking Learned Pond is now being marketed.
According to property records, the facility is still owned by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston. It was last assessed earlier this year for just over $7.7 million.
The real estate firm promoted the 53-year-old building as being a short walk away from the commuter rail station and close to City Hall, a city library, MetroWest Medical Center and main business zones.
MetroWest Commercial Real Estate is currently seeking proposals both with or without the current existing structures.
Agent Cheryl Tully Stoll in a statement said the building is in excellent condition and could support residential, medical, office or educational uses.
“The entire parcel could also be redeveloped for the same purposes,” she said.
