Director of Creative Endeavors, Angel Guard Products, Worcester
Birthplace: Worcester
Residence: Spencer
High school: David Prouty High School
College and degree earned: Bachelor’s degree, Quinnipiac University
Career highlights: Seeing products that we developed on shelves at retail or in use in the field is what really gets me going. The feeling of accomplishment of seeing a product at retail after a long development cycle keeps me excited and ready for the next project.
Community involvement: At Angel Guard, approximately 85 percent of our assembly and final packaging is performed by folks from the community with disabilities. Much of our workforce comes from the Center of Hope, and I have had the pleasure of working with the center for a number of years. My wife and I contribute to several charities. I also coach my son’s T-ball team, and will continue to volunteer with the Spencer Brookfield Little League.
Non-relative you admire most: Jimmy Buffett, for the way he turned his music into a lifestyle and ultimately a world-renowned brand.
Favorite book: “Good Omens,” by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett
Hidden talents: I have a propensity for seeking out and trying new things. I recently began playing ukulele and guitar, learning CAD, and started fly fishing.
“By the time I turn 50, I’d like to have accomplished … raising my two kids into adults with the same morals and work ethic my parents instilled in me.”
