Bridal boutique Carbonneau Bridal and Formalwear has relocated to 60 Shrewsbury St., moving from its W. Boylston St. location.
The new location is housed in a two-story former restaurant, part of the same plot containing Volturno Pizza Napoletana and Wormtown Brewery, according to the company announcement on Sunday.
“The opportunity to bring the store to Shrewsbury Street was one that I was excited to say yes to,” said Owner Lynn Carbonneau-Reed, in a written statement. “I knew that the investment would mean that our stylists could accommodate more clients, and the space itself is just so beautiful - our customers are really loving it.”
Carbonneau’s provides formal attire, including bridal dresses, prom dresses, and tuxedo rentals.
Carbonneau-Reed opened the shop in 2009. In 2020, she purchased St. Cyr Salon and Spa on Park Avenue, now known as St. Cyr by Carbonneau.
She is a fourth-generation small business owner in Worcester, coming from the same family that owns Carbonneau's Shoe Repair on Grafton Street.
The new site will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
