Harmony of MA, Inc., a cannabis dispensary registered with the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, has finalized the $4-million purchase of 111 Shrewsbury St. in West Boylston, where it plans to open up shop, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The dispensary’s website says it is opening soon at that location.
Harmony underwent a change of ownership within the last year. When it first began conducting community outreach in 2019, it was owned by Dinesh Wadhwani, president and CEO of Natick-based ThinkLite, which specializes in lighting technology with a cannabis grow light branch.
Under Wadhwani’s leadership, Harmony went through the many processes of gaining approval and licenseship. In March, Wadhwani purchased the property for just over $750,000 and constructed a cannabis facility at the property.
In September, a change of ownership application was submitted to the Cannabis Control Commission, making Jeffrey Schultz, Manmeet Singh, Paramdeep Singh, and Gregory Tannor the owners.
The new owners are the same four registered as the buyers on the Dec. 20 sale of the property. The Town of West Boylston assesses the property at $295,000.
The four-acre parcel is located at the corner of Shrewsbury Street and Hartwell Street near several industrial companies.
Wow, they went bankrupt, no business there.
