The Massachusetts regulatory body for legal cannabis has launched a searchable product catalogue, housed on the Cannabis Control Commission’s website, the CCC announced on Monday.

The catalogue features information and -- in many cases -- photos of cannabis products sold throughout the state, including who manufacturers them.

The CCC said it is the first platform of its kind to operate in the country.

“When using the Product Catalog, any visitor, such as a parent, school nurse, or public safety official, will be able to quickly distinguish whether a marijuana product is available in our legal marketplace or not,” said CCC Executive Director Shawn Collins, in a statement.

Stakeholders who might find the tool useful include school administrators, public safety officials, medical professionals and parents, according to the CCC.

“I am confident this tool will support our ongoing efforts to expand public awareness in Massachusetts while promoting public health and safety,” Collins said.

More than 122,000 cannabis products have been logged in the catalogue so far.
