An entity registered to the owner of Lock 50 restaurant in Worcester has purchased three parcels around his existing restaurants for just over $1 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
Edward Russo, owner of the upscale restaurant on Water Street, bought the properties in a sale closed Jan. 6. The parcels include 74 Water St., 156 Harding St., and 25 Pond St., which all abut Lock 50 at 50 Water St.
74 Water St. is a 5,400-square-foot building assessed by the City of Worcester at $282,500. The Harding Street and Pond Street properties are both mostly-vacant lots assessed by the City at $130,600 and $80,000 respectively.
Russo bought the properties from Tiny Realty LLC, which is registered to Worcester attorney Laura Traiger.
He also owns Russo Italian Restaurant at 65 Water St and is the president of LABEX of MA, a steel caging firm for biotech companies.
Russo was not available for comment on the sale.
