Acceleron Pharma Inc. has hired Kevin F. McLaughlin, former senior vice president and CFO of Marlborough’s Qteros Inc., to the same position with the Cambridge-based drug company.
Qteros is a biofuel development firm.
Before Qteros, McLaughlin spent more than 10 years at Cambridge-based Praecis Pharmaceuticals Inc. As CEO of that company, he negotiated its sale to GlaxoSmithKline in 2007.
Acceleron is privately held and is developing drugs to treat cancer and other diseases.
