Hopkinton’s Caliper Life Sciences has teamed with a California-based biotech company to market its lab testing equipment.
Caliper will be working with Illumina Inc., a San Diego-based company that creates tools for studying DNA and RNA. The two companies will co-market Caliper’s LabChip XT library and well as its LabChip GX quality control platform.
The systems are automated alternatives to traditional sequencing devices and were developed in partnership with Illumina.
