Cost Plus World Market announced the opening of its first Massachusetts store, located in the Shoppers World plaza on Worcester Road in Framingham. The store will open doors on Oct. 1 during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Often referred to as “World Market,” the store sells furniture, décor, jewelry and accessories collected by buyers who travel the globe in search of products, according to the Oakland, Calif. Company. World Market operates 270 stores in 33 states, as well as an e-commerce site, www.worldmarket.com.
Outside of Massachusetts, the nearest World Market retail location is in New York City.
